It’s been a crazy couple of days since we left Rome, but we finally made it to our ship, our home for the next 62 days. I won’t go into details of the challenges we faced, starting with a sudden change in embarkation ports. No matter how experienced you are or how much you plan, things happen. Sometimes, multiple things. You want to shake your fists at the travel gods and yell, “Enough, dammit!”
Anyway, we kept our cool (other than my moment of fist-shaking), and things magically worked out. Now, here we are, on the Azamara Quest, sitting on our balcony with Venice in the distance. I think all the hiccups for this cruise are out of the way. And if not, we’re not worried—because every little thing gonna be alright.
