Probably the best travel day in a long time. Madrid Uber driver on time and happily loaded our bags. Easy time finding our bus in an airport-like bus station with spotless restrooms.
Comfortable bus ride on time. Granada Uber driver on time and happily loaded our bags. Great lunch while we waited to check in to our Airbnb. Early check-in for our home for the next 17 days. Amazed at our beautiful soundproofed two-bedroom apartment with a modern elevator. Gorgeous views from every floor-to-ceiling window.
Marveled at our location right in the middle of Old Town. We enjoyed a two-mile stroll through the maze of ancient streets dotted with interesting shops and restaurants. It was a special holiday here and everyone was having a great time.
Finally enjoyed two glasses of perfect Spanish wine that came with two amazing tapas gratis. One was a bowl full of peel your own sweet tasty shrimp and the other was a big bowl of baby clams, also sweet and delicious. We are most appreciative to the travel gods for giving us a break on a travel day.
