he Central Oregon Coast is where my husband and I retreat each year
T to disconnect – and reconnect.
It’s where we go to sponge out our brains and start fresh – where we
swap the blare of city traffic and office phones for the rhythmic rumble
of ocean waves, the squawk of hungry gulls at sundown, the throaty
groan of foghorns. It’s where we trade deadlines for tidelines; where we
follow a trail instead of a routine. It’s where we go to breathe.
