Vila Vita VITA Parc resort, our final Algarve
stop, is tucked in the green hills around the village
of Porches, a charming seaside town often
overshadowed by the tourist hot-spots of
Albufeira and Praia da Rocha. Our expectations
were high - we had seen the photos and read some
reviews. But a few hours after checking in and
exploring the beautiful landscape, we all agreed -
the resort’s beautifully decorated
accommodations, stylish cabanas, palm-studded
gardens, and private sandy beach were flat-out
awesome.
Our room on the second floor of the main
building overlooked the gardens and two
fountain-splashed ponds - one a favorite way
station for happy seagulls and the other home to
resident swans. The resort offers chic rooms and
suites with the sea-inspired decor in various sizes,
including spacious whitewashed villas with
private pools. There’s even the option of a luxury
seagoing experience on their exclusive 60-foot
Vila Vita Yacht.
