climate. The Lower Deck had given us a
delicious taste of Skye’s comfort food her‐
itage and a culinary antidote for Scot‐
land’s chronic weather.
On the way back to the van for the
drive to our B&B, we stopped at Cath Wa‐
ters Gallery, where we purchased our first
souvenirs of the trip. Two prints by this ad‐
mired Skye photographer and digital artist
captured the moody weather and watery-
hued landscapes we encountered on the
cruise and this land tour.
