visitors, posting a sign outside what he
called the “Cave Man House.” We were about
to climb the ladder to the entrance when Ron
spotted a man seated in the shade nearby.
“Are you the caveman?” Ron asked. He
laughed, and replied, “Yabba, Dabba Do!”
His impressive multiroom home wasn’t the
dark, inhospitable environment we expected.
Colorful rugs covered the floors and furnish-
ings. The kitchen was small but fully func-
tional. We’ll never think of the Flintstones
the same way again.
