then laughed, especially as we noticed the little croc
had a rubber band wrapped around its snout.
The sun was setting as we bid our hosts farewell.
The Nubians of Seheil Island had treated us as hon-
ored guests, and we all felt both grateful and reflective
as we headed back down the Nile to the ship.
That evening, after dinner, Mohamed and his Phar-
aohs met one last time on the top deck to say our
goodbyes. It’s incredible how a group of strangers can
become close friends in a short time. Tomorrow many
of us would go our separate ways. Four Pharaohs had
one last Egyptian adventure ahead of us in a place
called Abu Simbel.
