gressive trivia has become a daily ritual,
and after starting in last place, our team
has made an impressive comeback.
Evenings are a particular delight. Wine
time on the deck is made even better by
the ship’s fantastic party band, East Pearl,
whose laid-back sets provide the perfect
soundtrack. Just a few days ago, we
crossed the equator, participating in a
maritime tradition where passengers
earned the title of “shellback” by kissing a
fish in front of King Neptune.
Sometimes, of course, quiet time is the
best time. Whether it’s curling up with a
book in a sunlit lounge, stealing a midday
nap, or simply staring out at the endless
horizon, every sea day is what you make
of it. As we continue sailing toward Walvis
Bay, Namibia, we look forward to the ad-
ventures ahead. But until then, we’re soak-
ing up the tranquility, as we float
somewhere in the vast blue expanse of the
Atlantic.
