culinary map.
Sunset was near and Tanta’s outdoor
patio was packed. Luckily after a short
wait, we nabbed a table with a clear view
over the gleaming water. A friendly server
helped us pick a rose and some snacks to
enjoy as the sun disappeared and seaside
lights started to glow. By the time we left,
the line waiting for tables on this balmy
evening stretched out the door.
Dusk was deepening as we crossed
the park, still bustling with joggers, bicy‐
clists, rollerbladers, and young families
playing on the grass. Street performers
added to the lively atmosphere. We
stopped for some shots of the quirky
“Love Park” sculptures before heading
back to our hotel.
