We pulled to the side of the road and learned
from the signage that we had arrived at the movie
set for “City Slickers,” one of Ron’s favorite
movies. Turns out, lots of movies were filmed
here, including “Cowboys and Aliens,” “3:10 to
Yuma,” “Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull,” “Wy-
att Earp,” and “Silverado.” Film buffs take note:

tour on Saturdays during the summer.
A few miles later we pulled into the Ghost
Ranch parking lot, where we met our guide, Julia
Haywood. She shared a fascinating overview of
