Conifers that grew during the Late Triassic

park with petroglyphs like Newspaper Rock,
agate, hiking trails, views of the Painted
Desert and the permanently marooned shell
of a 1932 Studebaker that stands on Route
66’s obliterated path and serves as homage to

wood is “knowing where it came from, how
many years it took, the erosion process that
took place. And there’s no telling how much is
under the ground that we still yet can’t see.”
