mous cabaret and opt for Crazy Horse Paris
for a good burlesque show and you’ll be out
late enough to view the Eiffel Tower
sparkling in the night sky.
My favorite outing is on marchè day.
There are a few different marchès but many
resemble American farmers’ markets. Stalls
sell fruits and vegetables, perhaps some
small souvenirs and food. Enjoy oysters,
crepes, and other international treats. Or
venture farther out to see the legendary flea
markets of Paris, locals’ favorites for sure.
No trip is complete without a boat cruise
on the Seine at night. But let’s not opt for a
big boat and banquet food. You deserve
more! How about an intimate cruise, or a
Michelin-chef owned cruise that offers ex-
ceptional wines as you see why Paris is
called the City of Light.
There must be a day for shopping every-
thing from thrift stores to luxury-brand
shops. A little department store time may
even include an Eiffel Tower view from a
rooftop free!
I like to leave the last day open for the
things that were missed, or discover during
your stay. It’s easy to fit in a bit more cul-
ture at one of the many expositions offered
by the 144 museums in Paris. Or, you could
catch a concert at the famous Palais Garnier
opera house or Sainte-Chapelle church.
A few more suggestions. Dinner reserva-
tions are a must, or you’ll end up eating cafe
food which is perfect for lunch, but not
nearly as good as a real French dinner. Also
learn the public transit system to save time
and money. And don’t over plan so that you
don’t over cancel.
There are tons of other tricks and trips
that will ensure a seamless vacation. Hiring

edge and passion for Paris can make your
Paris experience exceptional. Feel free to
