Madrid Attractions

You would think that a 30-day visit to a city is
enough time to explore it and the surrounding
region. But not so in Madrid’s case . After a
month, we had just sampled the highlights.
There are so many historical buildings, food
markets, parks, museums, restaurants, and
unique neighborhoods there that it would take
months, if not years, to really know Madrid. We
visited all three of the major art museums, but
only viewed a fraction of their treasures. The
same with the beautiful historic parks and gar-
dens. We did, however, get a taste of this great
city, and those experiences left us exhilarated
and wanting more.
