The tinerary for my week in Germany covered
the Rhine, Main and Moselle rivers, with stops
in Koblenz, Heidelberg, Wurzburg, Bamberg,
Nuremberg and Regensburg—a group I quickly
dubbed the Bergs
182 ADVENTURES AT A KIBBUTZ
We were doing a lousy job of picking tanger-
ines. Tony and I had only filled four or five
boxes and we'd eaten about a box and a half. So
when Motti, the work manager, drove up in his
army-surplus Jeep, our first thought was, "Oh,
oh. He's not going to like this."

“What did you do in London?” several friends
inquired about my October 2019 trip there.
“I went to jail!” I responded.
And I even had a photo of me behind bars to
prove it!
