We were lucky to get a table in the packed eatery
where the music was pumped up just a few deci-
bels too high. Neither the youthful clientele nor
servers seemed to mind shouting over the din.

crisp spring afternoon. But it was our second dish
that made Ron’s day. His Frito Pie was beautiful to
behold - and tasted even better. He quickly de-
voured the bowl of red chili layered with corn chips,
shredded lettuce, red onion, diced tomatoes, and
dabs of sour cream. He was in Santa Fe comfort
food heaven.

Cantina couldn’t have been more different. But

book guide your choice. You won’t be disappointed.
