The Coyote Cafe was the second stop on our
amazing Santa Fe food tour with Carol Imrie-Mui.
Colorful murals marked the entrance to the multi-
story building that houses Coyote Cafe and its ca-
sual cousin, Coyote Cantina. The Cafe’s sleek con-
temporary interior, redone in 2018, eschews
typical Santa Fe decor except for photos of fantas-
tical Mexican folk-art animals and a dramatic red
chili ristra chandelier of glowing glass.
